The owner, Key, will promise the highest assessed price for those Vintage Stratocaster, such as a 100% original and a mint condition one and also the 100% orignal custom colored one.

Stratocasters, Parts, A case and Accessories which we desire

A Vintage Stratocaster which is made in between 1954 and 1981. We promise the high settlement price for those original custom colored or the the 100% original and a mint conditioned Stratocaster which was made in the period of Pre-CBS. We also welcome a refinised, parts replaced and/or modified Vintage Stratocaster.
Original parts, the case and accessories (e.g., Bridge Cover, Tremolo arm, Tremolo Backplate, Strap, Cross, Tag, Instruction & Owner's manual) for the Vintage Stratocaster which were made in between 1954 and 1981.
Current Stratocaster which is made by the custom shop, made in U.A.A. and/or Mexico, Note: We only buy and treade-in the Synchronized Tremolo specification.
We buy a fender of the Stratocaster Copy Miodel.
Important NOTE: Sorry! We won't be able to buy following items:
*Floyd Rose & Knife Edge Tremolo System
*Stratocaster Copy Model except the fender
*Workshop-made Stratocaster Copy Models
*Those components and Stratocaster which are customized

Important Note:

We welcome to buy the refinished and/r the parts replaced Stratocaster and the comportnent Stratocaster whose neck and body is part of Vintage Stratocaster however, we won't buy the following items.

The replaced and/or rebuilt main functional parts (e.g., a body, a neck, pickups, tunners, bridge) cannot be identified the maker and/or the odel name.
The body is not in good shape as the result of refinishing. Those bad condition means that shape was deformed or that the body was thin because of too much milling and Tremolo block was sticking our from the back and as the result, the Tremolo Backplate cannot be mount.
One's neck was extremely reshaped.

<Prerequisites>
Basecally, we request you to send the guitar to us first. After inspecting it, we will deposit money to the appointed bank accounr.
In any cases, we wan't pay before you will send the guitar to us. But if you are the shop owner and had multiple business with us in past, we will discuss the method of payment.
And if you will sell parts and/or accessories which is not in a msall amount, we can pay by PayPal.
*If you deal ith Pay First or money transfer, we will ask you to creat an invoive using our official "Invoice" form and conclude the sales contract with made by the lawyer.

<Utilization of the Escrow Service and its service chage>
H.I.Guitars, Inc. oparates the shop "Strato-Crazy" in Tokyo, Japan.
If you worry about sending your guitar in advance, we will do business with you through the Escraw Service (Escrow.com). But please note that you have responsibility to pay the service fee for using the Escrow Service.

We can pay your in Japanese Yen, US dollor, Euro and GBP, so please feel free to ask us, (Japanese yen and US dollor is fine for us)

We will contact you after checking the specifications and photos which you send us.

There is a possiblility that we may not be able to accept your offer (Your offer price sound good for us, we consider to buy your items, and let's talk abut the deal condition.)
And also, we may ask you provide us the additional information and/or photos.

Step 2) Please send us your guitar
When we reach an agreement with the purchaseing price and the condition of the deal, please ship your items.

If you have the Federal Express (Fedex) or the UPS account, please send us your guitar by the Collect Service.
If you don't have the Fedex or the UPS account, please send US your guitar by USPS International Service. You should pay for the shipping fees, and after shipping. please let s know the fees you paid. After inspecting the guitar, we will deposit the final setlement amount and shipping & handling cost you paid in advance to your bank account.
If you get an estimatetion of shipping fees from the USPS International service, and if you let us know the fees, we will pay if by PayPal.

As soon as we recieve your guitar, we will conduct the insection.

And if there is no problem, we will send the promised price to appointed bank account on next business day.
If the item you sent us dosen't meet our standerds after the inspecton, we will contact right after the product delivery, and will ship back to you on next business day.
Please understnad that if we will find the problems during the inspection, it is possible the need to renegotiated with you about purchasing price.

Consignment Sales: Objects and Commission

H.I.Guitars, Inc. "Strato-Crazy" always recieve a request of consignment sales as well as thepurchasing.
If you want to sale your quitar in the higher price, we suggest you to choose the consignment sales.

A Wanted List: We desire the following Stratocaster

We are looking for the collector's masterpieces such as 100% original and Mint condition as well as a more casual one.

Vintage Parts, Case & Accessories
Basically, the oversea customer cannot use the "Consignment Sales" for vintage Stratocaster parts, the case and accessories, sorry!!

Commission for consignment sales

<Precondition>

Basecally, we sell the guitar in Japan, so we set a sales price and settlement amount in Japanese yen.
And we will convert commission into the currenc you desire at an exchange rate of the day of settlement and will transfer to the appointed bank account.

You will be able to change from "Consignment sales" to the purchasing at any time;　　　　　　　　　　　　　　　　　　　　　　　　　　　　　　　　　　　　　　　　　　　　　　　　　　　　　　　　　　　　　　　　　　　　　　　　　　　　　　　　　　　However please understnad it could happen hat the new assessment amount could be lower that the proposed assessment price.

<Commission>

8% on sales of more tahn1.5 million Japanese yen..
10% on sales of more than 1 million Japanesebyed and under 1.5 million Japanese yen.
15% on sales of more than 500,000 Japanese yen and under 1 million Japanese yen.
20% on sales of under 500,000 Japanrse yen

You will be able to change from "Consignment sales" to the purchasing at any time;
However please understnad it could happen hat the new assessment amount could be lower that the proposed assessment price.

<Expenses you have to pay>

Shipping cost to Japan.
Cost for the customs clearance and its consumption tax (8% of your Shipping Invoice value). We pay for you, and we will reimbursed with settlement monry at the time of settlemnt
The fees for the International Bank Wire Transfer (6,500 Japanese yen). We will remburse at the settlement.

"Consignment Sales" Procedure　

　In case of Vintage Stratocaster

The year of manufacture, color, and the cpndition.

Wheter you have refreted, relaced nut and/or other parts.

The date of neck, body, pots pickups and serial number.

Presence of the case, and other accessories.

Please let us know how much money do you want for the consignment sales deal.

　After checking the details information and the photos of the guitar, we will estimate an assessment amount in both the buying case and the consignment sale case.

In case of the consignment sale, we will calculate the nominal sales price in Japan based on theTTB exchange rate at that time.

And then we will propose the settlement amount whicj deduct the commission fee other cost such as the custom clearance, its consumption tax and money transfer fee.

Step 2) Please send your guitar

If you agree the estimate sales price or estimate settlement amount, please send us your guitar,

At this point, we will pay a custom clearance fee and 8% Japanese consumption tax forb your Shipping Invoive value.

Step 3) After recieving your guitar, we will inspect it.

After the inspction, we will inform you the final settlement amount (in the appointed currncy which you desire), sales amount in Japan (in Japanese Ye), and possble settlement amount in Japanese yen and appointed currency you desire.

If you wan't agree with the final settlemnt amount we proposed, you will be able to cancel the "Consignment sales".

In that case, you need to deposit those expence (e.g., the custom clearance and 8% Japanese consumption tax for your Shipping Invoice value) and also our return shipping cost.

After confirm the deposit of expenses, we will return you the guitar.

Step 4) We will conduct the adjustment and setting of the guitar, and start selling it.

Step 5) At the timing of sales release, we will make a "Receipt of the Consignment Sales"and we will e-mail you by PDF file.

Please keep the receipt safetu until you recieve the settlement amount of the consignment sales.

Step 6) When your guitar will be sold, we will start the settlement procedure.

The amount of time which takes for the sattlement could be effected by the way of payment which is selected by the customer. Please undersnatnd it might take up to a maximum of one month.

We will set the settlement amount in Japanese Yen after reimbursing the expenses (e.g., the commission fee, both custom clearance fee and 8% Japanese consumption tax for you Shipping Invoice valued) which we paid on behalf of you in advance, and aslo a fee for the intertional bank wire transfer.

After exchanging the settlement amount in Japanese Yen into your appointed currency which you desire by using the TTB rate, we will transfer mony to your account.

The exchange rare fluctuates daily.

H.I.Guitars, Inc. has no responsibility to the foregine exchange loss and/or which may be caused by the gap between the estimated settlement amount at the timeing of inspection and the settlement at time time of the purchasing settlement.

Please understand that you wan't be able to pull back your guitar which is on the "Consignment sale" for least six months.
